Head to Boutique1 before August 31st to discover the best emerging design talent from the Middle East across fashion, lifestyle and fine jewellery at a colourful in-store pop-up space inspired by Arabesque print.
Explore the selection of specially curated guest designers known for not only their traditional techniques and craftsmanship but also their individual aesthetic, attention to social responsibility and trailblazing attitudes.
Within the ready-to-wear offering, keep an eye out for the bright and eccentric All Things Mochi by Palestinian-born Ayah Tabari, Canadian-Iraqi Hind Adib’s eponymous unisex streetwear label, and Dubai’s gorgeous resortwear label Huda Al Nuaimi, which celebrates a modern approach to traditional crafts.
If you’d like to make sure that your purchase makes a meaningful difference to the world, head for accessories and lifestyle brands Sarah’s Bag, SEP Jordan and Nada Debs, which are all committed to promoting women’s welfare in the Middle East by providing opportunities and work for those less fortunate whilst protecting traditional craftsmanship techniques passed down through generations.
Fancy something a little sparkly? You’ll love the fine jewellery from L’Atelier Nawbar, Donna Hourani, and Maha Lozi – all of which are from Lebanese backgrounds. Hourani’s training in architecture has instilled a minimalistic approach to her feminine designs, while Lozi’s bold and rebellious aesthetic is inspired by her vibrant upbringing in London.
Throughout the duration of the pop-up, the guest designers will be dropping into Boutique1 for a program of events, so you may get to meet the creator of your purchases. And there is a specially curated menu in April’s Café to celebrate this manifestation of new Middle Eastern talent.
