The London Fashion Week Spring 2019 shows kick off on Friday 14th September, with a schedule packed with the brightest talents on the international fashion scene, including London darlings Emilia Wickstead, Anya Hindmarch and Roksanda Ilincic.
As the style set criss-crosses London to take in the collections of the new talents everyone is talking about – Halpern, Richard Quinn and Matty Bovan, amongst others – there’s plenty of off-catwalk action to take in, too.
Boutique 1 will be working with an up-and-coming artist and illustrator to take over both the window spaces across the Sloane Street store throughout September, underscoring the boutique’s commitment to supporting new, fresh talent, and Harvey Nichols will be rebranded as ‘Holly Nichols’ for the month of September – complete with a new illuminated ‘Holly Nichols’ sign on the front of its Knightsbridge store – to launch its newly refurbished First Floor and September campaign celebrating women, ‘Let’s Hear it for the Girls’.

The brand has also introduced www.hollynichols.com and all social media channels have undergone the rebrand.
Meanwhile, slightly further afield, to celebrate LFW, Sloane Street favourite Anya Hindmarch will create ‘Chubby Cloud’ (14th-16th September), an experiential installation inspired by the cloud motif in her AW18 Chubby Collection at Banqueting House London, where visitors will be able to climb on and sink into the world’s largest bean bag under the only in-situ Rubens painted ceiling in the world. The three-day event will include a series of talks, meditations, music and bedtime stories (Poppy Delevingne is on bedtime duty on Friday evening) that you can book into.
There will be Chubby Cloud inspired cakes in the Chubby Cloud pop-up café and visit the Chubby Cloud pop-up shop which will offer the Designers latest Chubby Collection – released globally to coincide with the event – alongside products created exclusively for the event including Chubby Cloud cushions, Chubby Cloud eye masks and Chubby Cloud marshmallows.
